Diego Ballesteros was a famous cyclist. In 2008, he cycled all the way from Spain to China. In 2010, while competing in the Race Across America, he was run over by a young driver, causing a spinal cord injury that prohibits him from ever walking again. This is his story about how he dealt with the accident and his new way to live.
On August the 20th, 2006 Karina Hollekim jumped from a plane in a routine demonstration skydive. Her parachute failed and she hit the ground with over 100 km/h - resulting 21 open fractures in her right leg and the loss of more than three litres of blood. Attention, a life in Extremes
This FEATURE DOCUMENTARY „Attention, a life in extremes“ (working title), is a critical analysis about the extreme sports theme. It shows the life of three exceptional athletes (long distance cyclist, free diver and wingsuit flyer) and their motivation to exceed their limits permanently. They will be followed by our camera team to epic challenging competitions and exciting events all over the world. Keep on track!
